Katrina, George W. Bush and Michael Moore and Oriana

This morning I get in my inbox a newsletter from Michael Moore, you know who is not?
is a writer, director (documentary mostly), became famous for his constant struggle against the government of George W. Bush and every kind of injustice committed by the U.S. government, against the various wars, the power of multinationals,
etc ... Read more 'll direct you to his official website.

As I said, I receive the newsletter, which this time is a open letter directly to the President, a letter from a very derogatory tone, which you can read (in English) is also full of Moore on the site.
We summarize in a few words the gist of the letter, expressing opinions that I think are well shared.

Basically Michael asks with his usual ironic edge to the President as there has ever acted in a way so disorganized and inadequate in addressing Hurricane Katrina, which has totally blown away (probably forever) the city of New Orleans, causing, not only in that city, many (yet incalculable) death and destruction.
It asks where are the soldiers should intervene, not to mention the media. He accuses Bush of preferring to use them in Iraq, where there are loved ones of economic interests, rather than use them for a disaster like the one that occurred in recent days.
also accuses George W. great to have (almost 3 days late) moved to do something, leaving his holiday home to fly over New Orleans.
As usual, however, Moore does not just refer to current events, but also to the fact that Bush ignored the warnings of those scientists warned that the hurricane risk in that area, as the waters of the Gulf of Mexico were heating up quickly, and thus could generate phenomena such as those that have unfortunately seen.
Moore also stresses the fact that Bush did not in any hurry to help the poor survivors in New Orleans waiting for help on the roofs of their homes ... Maybe, Moore asks, why many of them are of color? If they were white probably would not deserve to "survive" on their roofs for five days ...

In short, the charges are different, all very heavy ... Besides, Bush is no stranger to this type of attack, even and especially dall'americanissimo Michael Moore.
We'll see if this time the Americans let go ...
